Dar-es-Salaam

Dar es Salaam is located along the coast of the Indian Ocean and is the largest city in Tanzania. Home to a wide variety of people and cultures.
The city is known for its beaches, islands, fish, seafood, music and which with a variety of activities caters to any type of tourist. The city is definitely worth a look around for a day or two.
The people are so friendly and it can be nice to have some time to see the city / developed Africa before going to Arusha. Arusha is also great, but certainly smaller (fewer people speak English, etc.)
