With a population of about 100,000, the capital is the second largest city in the country after Manzini. It is surrounded by the steep hills of the Dlangeni Hills and is located at an altitude of approx. 1,234 m. Its temperate climate is pleasant in the warm season. While Mbabane does not have many tourist attractions, it is very authentic with colorful market stalls, crowded minibuses and cheerful bustle. The city is centered around an intersection at Soshiya Road with the bus station on one side and Pick’n Pay, a large shopping mall on the other.’
