As the capital of historic and cultural Armenia, Yerevan has much to offer its visitors. The city is known for its squares, parks, historical monuments and delicious dolma, just to name a few of its attractions.
Yerevan itself is filled with very stately buildings from the Soviet era, and there are some great historical treasures just a day trip away.
It is not expensive, the transportation is cheap, the food is cheap and good, the weather is good and you have most of the country very close to Yerevan.
